A great start to the new year to celebrate a few Sunday afternoon drinks at the Wheaty! Con, Chad, Stephen and myself rocked up for a couple of shandies. Or to be more specific ales... Stephen had a couple but was driving so hit the water - I've always said Stephen is a good egg.Chad bought a cheese platter which went down very well with the beers. By the time we left the place was quite full and buzzing. We scored a spot in the corner lounge which was a bit too comfy with the slouching chairs.
We talked about having a games night at Chad's place in February and maybe a 'Host a Murder' night later in the year.
This year is going to be all about the kind of drinks we have.. and today was special because we all tried out new drinks. A couple of Chad's choices to me tasted like Draino but I was very happy with my choice - Cutlet.
We drove Con and Chad back to North Terrace afterwards. Con had his bike there and Chad's bus stop was not too far away.
