It was Richard's turn to choose tonight and he felt like a chicken salad. Where to go when you want a chicken salad? Italian, of course! Brunelli it is.

Chad saw the egg-shaped pepper shaker on the table and decided to give us a few of his 'dad' jokes...

Stephen had his very reliable and usual chicken schnitzel and pepper sauce.

Chad had the Brunelli pizza 10 inch. Chad said that there was a fair variety of ingredients and it was very cheesy.
I had the barramundi special with wedges and salad. It had a sour fishy smell. There were way too many olives which the others helped out. Overall, a very stodgy meal.
Con had the Puttanesca pasta. It looked a little small compared to the other huge serving sizes. He commented that there was a bit too much sauce in the meal.
Finally, Richard got exactly what he asked for - a chicken and pear salad with a soda water. He commented that the chicken was well cooked.

The air conditioning seemed to be faulty in the cafe tonight. The place was very warm. I couldn't wait to get outside, which was only marginally cooler.
Scores for the evening:
Elizabeth - 6.5
Stephen - 8
Con - 6
Chad - 7
Richard - 7
I suppose the scores reflect the question of the evening... was it too much quantity over the actual quality of the meal? Apparently not. Apart from my average score, then rest of the team enjoyed their meal.
When it came to coffee, we stayed at Brunelli. Con had the cappucino in the correct cup. Stephen and I had our flat whites in latte cups - very hot to pick up. Stephen was not at all happy with having his flat white in a handle-less cup. Richard had 2 coffees.
Chad had the special drink of the evening - a Chai Latte!
